Storm King Lighters

Storm King Lighters
Storm King lighters are vintage, windproof, flip-top cigarette lighters produced by Park Sherman (later Park Industries), primarily in the 1940s and 1950s, with some production extending into the 1970s. They were made in Springfield, Illinois, before the company moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, around 1960. These lighters are known for their durability and similarity to Zippo lighters, featuring a hinged lid and a removable insert for refilling with lighter fluid. They were often made of aluminum or brass, with earlier models using steel inserts and later ones sometimes featuring lower-quality aluminum inserts or plastic flint screws.
